Product Description of Calcium Carbonate Filler Masterbatch
Calcium Carbonate Filler Masterbatch is a high-performance functional modification material for plastics. It adopts premium ground calcium carbonate (GCC) or precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) as the core filling raw material, with PE or PP selected as the carrier resin. Adopting advanced compounding and granulation technology, the product realizes uniform dispersion and complete resin coating of calcium carbonate particles.
Serving as an economical resin substitute, this masterbatch is compatible with mainstream plastic processing techniques, especially injection molding. With a conventional addition ratio of 10%–50%, it effectively cuts down raw material costs. Meanwhile, it optimizes the physical properties of finished plastic products, delivering excellent cost performance and stable processing performance for mass production.

Product Application of Calcium Carbonate Filler Masterbatch
This Calcium Carbonate Filler Masterbatch is widely used for woven bags and shopping bags. It can substitute 30-50% of virgin PP and reduce raw-material costs by 25-40%. The additive increases flexural modulus by 40-80%, improving bag stiffness, stacking performance and load capacity. At 35% loading, it achieves light transmittance below 5% and protects UV-sensitive contents.
Thanks to the tortuous-path effect, the water vapor transmission rate can be decreased by 15-20% for better moisture resistance. A 20-35% addition rate can cut PE consumption by 15-30% and bring obvious economic benefits.
